Since everyone has a different amount of growth that they think should initiate a hedge trimming violation letters can be sent at different times depending on who is inspecting properties. To reduce HOA letters, have you considered removing bushes that get hedge trimmed and having bushes that do not get hedge trimmed instead?
We are one of only a few landscapers in southern Nevada that is licensed to be able to spray for weed control. It is a special license through the Nevada Department of Agriculture. It is not included in any other license, not even a landscaping contractors’ license! In addition to the company needing a license so does each person spraying. Here is a link to the list of licensed companies and applicators. Here is a link to who needs the license. The laws have directly affected landscapers for a number of years. Click here for a link. Have you considered having herbicide sprayed to be proactive and less reactive?
Like bushes, many times trees anticipated mature sizes are not taken into consideration when they are planted and in turn have branches that touch structures, look over grown and more. The cost to trim trees can be expensive and structural issues can not always been corrected. Have you considered removing inherited trees and installing ones more appropriately sized for the area they have to grow and possibly slower growing ones so that they may not need to be trimmed as often?
Per Nevada law, a c10 contractors license is needed to do work on irrigation. We are properly licensed.
