Then attach them to an email you send to us with a description of what you see as well as the property address and your contact information. Many times properties have a PVB / Backflow for the irrigation system to turn on and off the water. It might look like the ones above. They may have a copper colored top instead of a black one like these. Often times we see them located in homes front or the side yards. Never force knobs and make sure it is only for the irrigation. If the PVB is broken, leaking or rusted we may be able to replace it.

If the leak only shows up when the irrigation is on / running you might be able to turn your irrigation clock to the off position.

Per NRS 624.700 it is unlawful to engage in the business or act in the capacity of a contractor within the state of Nevada or submit a bid on a job situated within this state without having a proper and active contractors license.
If caught and found guilty
- The first offense may be a misdemeanor
- The second offense may be a gross misdemeanor
- The third offense may be a Class E felony.

What does water waste look like?
Water on hard surfaces like sidewalks, driveways, and streets is wasting water and $.
Drip irrigation issues, overwatering and leaks can also be a problem. It is not limited to irrigation issues from grass.
Some violations that may result in a water waste fee include:
- Water outside of landscaping.
- Watering on non-assigned watering day(s).
- Using irrigation during certain times of the day.
- Failure to comply with drought restrictions
- Not fixing a malfunction / leak within 48 hours
