Turn off your irrigation.
But before you do send us some photos.
Many times properties have a PVB / Backflow for the irrigation system to turn on and off the water. It might look like the ones above or it may be a different style. Never force knobs and make sure it is only for the irrigation. If the PVB is broken, leaking or rusted we may be able to replace it.

If the leak only shows up when the irrigation is on / running you might be able to turn your irrigation clock to the off position.

Since many times irrigation repairs get covered up with dirt and rock by watching us you can see that we did work. We try to include photos with our invoices as well.
Irrigation essentials for homes
Backflow prevention / PVB
They may have a black colored top instead of a black one like this one. Often times we see them located in homes front or the side yards. Many times turning the PVB off will stop water from leaking in an irrigation system.
Timers & clocks
Many times the irrigation clock is located in the garage at single family homes. Turning the clock off will not always stop irrigation leaks. These clocks can stop working so checking that they work is important to many residents. If you have a landscaper who does landscape maintenance at your property some people prefer to have a clock installed outside so their landscaper has easier access to it and does not need to access your garage but it does not work for everyone.
Irrigation valves
A similar set up may be located in a valve box with a green or tan top that is usually flush with the ground. When for grass there is usually not a filter or pressure reducer and instead of black poly there is probably PVC.

They come in different shapes and sizes and are usually near plants or where plants use to be. They can come off, get clogged or break. Many times they are connected to spaghetti line, a thin, flexable black line / pipe.

They are usually located in grass areas. When doing SNWA grass conversions the SNWA does not allow these types of heads.
